Getting started?
It says this is a compiler........
So I went to the examples, loaded one into the editor...
There's no "Compile" button! Does that mean Compilr is actually Editr? There's a download source button........
If there is a compile option.... where is it!?
A nice beginners guide would be great - if it's around here, it's not obvious. Something that shows what Compilr could do?
I've just been to IDEOne.com as well..... they've got an editor, AND compiler... for 40 languages..... it's very accessible..... this site looks better - but it's missing intuitive usability. =(
The build button allows you to compile, and is only currently available for Java, C# and VB .NET
Sorry if our tag line was a misleading: "Compilr is a online IDE for PHP, C, C++, Ruby and compiler for Java, C# and VB."
Java applets can be previewed on the site, as well as built with the preview button.
We will be adding instructional videos in the near future as well to help familiarize new users with the interface.
