I'm sorry if this is a stupid question... I'm a brand new member.

I'm trying to create my first project, but in the interface the "Project Template" drop-down is ghosted an unavailable (and so is the "Language Platform" drop-down).

When I click the "Create Project" button, I get an error message that says "Please Select a Project Template".

How can I selete a project template when it is ghosted and unavailable?

I'm trying to create a Java project, but have also tried every combination I can think of and can't get this thing to work.

Thanks

Try security settings

After posting my question I found a potential answer elsewhere in the forums... suggested modifying the security settings -- shouldn't be higher than medium and make sure that Javascript is enabled. I haven't been able to try it yet... the computer I'm on at the moment is locked down. :)

In this case it's most likely

In this case it's most likely because you do not have Javascript enabled.

Please try creating a project again, I've changed the javascript so it no longer uses any third party libraries.

please let me know how it goes.

Same issue trying to create a New Project

I am experiencing the same problem on my Work PC (in this case PC stands for piece of crap).

When trying to create a new project the 'project template' is unavailable and will it will not allow me to create a new Java project without selecting this option.

Javascript is enabled on my IE7 as per:

http://www.tranexp.com/win/JavaScript-enabling.htm

Security settings are at 'medium'.

Oh and it is on JRE 1.6.0, I would update but my rights are limited here.

THanks for the report. We

THanks for the report.

We will be updating this Javascript as soon as we can.

JRE 1.6.0 is all you need.

If you can in the meantime. Try a different Browser, Firefox, Safari, Chrome or IE 8
